Jennifer has worked as a school counselor for over a decade.  Through this experience she developed a love for bibliotherapy and writes social and emotional learning books to help children and preteens through challenging times.  The award-winning books teach children strategies while they're immersed within the stories.  The young readers learn they're not alone and are able to understand complex issues from so many different perspectives by seeing the story through the eyes of the characters.  When Jennifer is not writing, she's busy continuing her work as an educator and raising two children of her own.
