STORY

Book Authors of Southeastern PA, founded in 2024, supports local published and not yet published authors by providing them with resources, promotional materials, educational workshops, community outreach, and networking opportunities. The group is comprised of more than 50 talented writers, illustrators and publishing contacts, who produce material in numerous genres, ranging from children’s fiction and adult novels, to poetry, wellness and transformative texts. Membership is free and open to authors interested in advancing literacy and access to engaging, high-quality reading material for people of all ages.

Club members are available to read and speak at events, including live and digital classroom visits, library story times, special event book signings and more. Recent events featuring BASPA authors include Elmwood Park Zoo’s Back to School and Author Days, Conshohocken Fall Fest, Power Festival, North Wales Area Library Local Author Showcase. Many of BASPA’s authors’ titles can also be found at The Artist’s Loft in Conshohocken, and on Amazon.com.
